Warren, I can’t believe it’s been 2 years since you left us. You have no idea how many times I think about you. Going all the way back to our junior high school days…talking together on the phone as we watched live the first landing on the moon, all the music concerts, the Astrodome Astros, celebrating at our Y2K party and realizing the electrical grid was all good lol, the Cubs winning it all, hanging out at Texans football games, and being my multi decade go to reference source for all things rock and roll…to name a few of the things we shared over all these many years.  I miss you dearly my friend. Love you and God bless.

My Condolences to Warren's family. I worked next to Warren at Parsons. I appreciated his sense of humor and his knowledge. He and I shared a love of music and were both Beatles fans. After we both left Parsons, I would consult with him when preparing lesson assignments where I had to write an essay. Last time I texted him was on August. I was shocked to learn of his passing. God bless his family.

Warren and I became friends at Spring Woods HS and we stayed in touch thereafter.   We shared a love of music, especially of the Beatles variety.   I envied Warren for his having lived for a time in London during the 60's.  I was always amazed at Warren's vast knowledge of rock music and musicians!  Whenever we got together, I suffered his Aggie jokes gladly and laughed along with him.  We enjoyed being in the audience along with other friends for Ringo Starr's concert in the Woodlands back in 2014, and Warren had recently told me he was looking forward to more of those Beatles Deluxe Editions.   I am thankful that Warren and Debra were able to enjoy some quality retirement time in Yoakum.   Rest in Peace, my friend.

My Weekend Dad.... oh how I miss you!!  Your terrible Aggie jokes...your no bean chili... your dislike of onions & bell peppers .... our shared love of Diet Ginger Ale, good old music, Texans football & wanting the best for Deb.

Sorry to be late...  My computer was Major League hacked, and I didn't get it back until yesterday.  I only knew Warren a comparatively short time 1998-date, but I considered him to be a good friend, and he was even a better friend to my daughter, Morgan, who was very tearful when she heard the news, as was Jean.  Warren had a lot of fans in North Carolina he didn't know about.


Thoughts and Prayers for Debra and the family .  Warren RIP fly high with the Angels my friend. 

My interaction with Warren began whilst getting ready practicing drumwork for Paul's 50th birthday bash the  ALF TO ALZHEIMERS Tour back in '98. After that RECYCLE  went on tour occasionally  in homes, clubs, joints, etc  locally throughout the Houston area. Warren's guitar work and joyful exuberance were always on display during jam sessions, gigs or just cooling down  in breaks with banter, food and drink.  Warrwn and Debra's  move to the peace and quiet of the country really made him happy.
I will  certainly miss you my friend and fellow troubadour. Now you can join in the Heavenly Jam.

Warren has been a good friend for more than 30 years. I have always known him to be a caring and thoughtful person, always treating others as he would wish to be treated. As a final farewell, I offer the following:
        Into my heart's treasury,
        He slipped a "friendship coin",
        That time can never take,
         Nor a thief purloin.


God speed through the Pearly Gates Warren, my friend.



Warren was a guitarist, a technical writer, a sports fan and a cat lover, among other things. He had a phenomenal memory for details. He was resourceful and curious and supportive of family and friends. He lived in several cities over the years, but spent most of them in Houston before retiring to Yoakum at the end of his days. I'll miss him and so will the rest of the boys in the band.
