Wesley Ray Ramirez

Wesley Ray Ramirez passed Sunday evening, October 18, 2015 in Houston, Texas at the age of 45, after complications from an illness. Wesley was born February 6, 1970 in Houston, Texas at Bellaire General Hospital to his parents, Raynaldo "Ray" Ramirez and Marlene Ann Wilson Ramirez. He graduated from Cleveland High School and worked for Woodruff and Associates Real Estate Appraisers as a research analyst and the office manager. Wesley worked for his uncle and aunts company for 25 year's. He was an avid comic book collector who enjoyed jazz and reading anything and everything he could. Wesley was a huge animal lover and had a remarkable green thumb. He never met a stranger and always offered a kind word or smile. He will always be remembered at a gentle funny soul. Wesley is preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Marlene Ramirez; grandparents, Jesse and Ann Wilson; grandfather, Tony V. Ramirez and sister, Amber Ramirez. He is survived by his brother, Kurt Ramirez and his sister, Sandy Ramirez; uncle, Winton Lee Wilson on his maternal side; uncle, Robert Ramirez on his paternal side; uncle, Jerry Ramirez, his wife Angel Ramirez, her sister, Josie Lopez and cousin, Jessica A. Ramirez. Lovingly his aunt Sandra "big Sandy" Woodruff and his uncle, Ed Woodruff, who treated him like a son. He will be missed by his nieces, Kayla, Kellee and Natasha Ramirez and his nephew Damien Ramirez. He also is survived by his sweet grandmother, Rose Ramirez and his many friends. Memorial services will be held Monday, October 26, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. in the chapel of Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home with a reception to follow in Earthman Resthaven hospitality room.
