

William Jackson Jr. also known as "Lil Daddy" was born April 27, 1930 in Shreveport, Louisiana to the late William Jackson Sr. and Annie Abram Jackson. He was the second of four children born to this union; Cleatter Harper, Cleo Jackson, and Lovie Branch Harvey. The family moved to Houston, Texas in 1934. There William attended primary school in the Houston Independent School District and later graduated from Booker T. Washington High School. Upon graduation, William attented Texas College and later became a member of the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity. Thereafter, he met and married Dorris Faye Love and had four children in this union; his late daughter Brenda, Charles, Fatrice, and William III. He worked for the Union Pacific Railroad and then he worked for the U.S. Postal Service as a Supervisor until his retirement. He is a 33rd degree Mason and a Shriner until his health declined. He was very active by empowering others with his wisdom. He later united in marriage to Lula Mae Flood in 2002 and she preceded him in death in 2014. He leaves to cherish his memory Fatrice Tempton, Charles Jackson (Gloria), William Jackson III (Cynthia) Hugh Flood Jr (Toni), and Janis Flood-Fridia (Masnsel).
