

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Adam Whitney Stubblefield, born August 3, 1983 in Huntsville, AL. Adam grew up in Huntsville and graduated from Huntsville High School Class of 2001. Adam attended Washington and Lee University on a baseball scholarship and graduated in the Class of 2005.
Adam attended Clemson University where he earned a Masters Degree in Management Information Systems and an MBA. He taught business at Clemson as he was working towards a Doctorate. He moved to Nashville, TN where he owned Nashville Catering Company alongside his father. In 2019, he moved to Huntsville, AL while continuing to work in the family business.
Adam attended Cove Methodist Church. Adam’s greatest joys were his children. He always loved baseball, Alabama Football, music (the good kind, the old kind, like The Beatles and The Allman Brothers). Recently, his joy in life came from watching Mabel play softball, Ruby play soccer, and hanging out with Billy at the ball fields.
Adam was preceded in death by his aunt Wanda Stubblefield McNeil and grandparents: Russell Boom and Ralph and Ruby Stubblefield.
Adam is survived by his children: Anne Mabel Stubblefield, Ruby Elizabeth Stubblefield, William Whitney Stubblefield and their mother, Lindsey Whatley Stubblefield; parents: Ralph Glandon Stubblefield, Jr. and Rene Boom Stubblefield Poe (Mark); siblings: Matthew Stubblefield (Vivian) and Sarah Ford (Scott); aunts and uncles: Daniel and Linda Harbin and Russell Boom, Jr. as well as several cousins, nephews and friends that dearly loved him.
Visitation for Adam will be Saturday at 10:00 am at Cove Church - 366 Old 431 Hwy Owens Cross Roads, AL 35763. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 am at Cove Church. Adam will be laid to rest at Valhalla Memory Gardens.
