Devoted husband, father, and disciple of Christ
(1943-2021)
Benjamin Kaiser, 78, a resident of Guntersville, Alabama, passed away on November 21, 2021 due to COVID-19. He spent his last day with his loving wife of 22 years, Jeanene Kaiser, by his side at the Huntsville Hospital.
Ben was born on April 27, 1943 in Redfield, South Dakota to Kittie Ellen Bloomhall and Leland Henry Kaiser.
He showed devotion to his country through his service in both the United States Navy (active duty) and Air Force (civil service). His time in the military allowed him and his family the opportunity to be world travelers which has created some of his family’s most treasured moments. Ben loved golfing, listening to his beloved 50s music and spending time on the lake with his family.
Ben lived as a wonderful representation of The Church of Jesus of Latter-Day Saints. Each day he walked as an upstanding, charitable, and loving servant of Heavenly Father. He valued effort, hard work, and helping those around him. Those who know Ben have also known Christ as he tried to walk in His footsteps each day.
Ben is survived by his wife, Jeanene Kaiser (Guntersville, AL); his six children: Lisa Glock (Veil, AZ), Rick Kaiser (Oro Valley, AZ), John Bayley (Lexington, KY), Colleen Norsworthy (Owensboro, KY), Angela O’Brien (Juliette, GA), and Camille Lacey (Columbia, SC); 10 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and his brother, Larry Kaiser (Colorado). Ben was preceded in death by his first child, Benjamin Vern Kaiser Jr., his parents, Kittie Ellen Bloomhall and Leland Henry Kaiser, and his is sister, Dorothy.
Ben’s memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 27 at 11:00 AM CT at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (4961 Spring Creek Drive, Guntersville, AL 35976). The service will be live-streamed at the following address: bit.ly/BenKaiserMemorialService For more information, please call (478) 973-7068.

Thank you to our friends, family, and the Guntersville Ward for all of your over reaching love and support.
Here are some words from Ben’s favorite hymn that truly embody who he was. “Because I have been given much, I too must give; Because of thy great bounty Lord, each day I live; I shall divide my gifts from thee with every brother that I see who has the need of help from me.”
