This is rather bizarre but I was just thinking of the old days in Wackernheim and thought about all my warrant officers. I remember Byron and was looking him up and found the obit. Very sorry he is gone would have loved to caught up.
I ended up retiring as a CW3 as well. God Bless.

Byron and I went to work for CAS on the same day, and shared an office for the first several months we were there. We worked together until we both retired in 2013. He was a consummate professional and master logistician. Byron was an amazing person and friend, always willing to help, and always a friend to rely on in tough times. The world will miss Byron, and I personally most certainly will, too. But he will be with his dear wife again, in the arms of the Lord. My sincere condolences to Byron's family in this time of loss.
