This beautiful Italian American woman, who liked to be called “Kay”, was known for her love of children, and nature, and for her delicious family recipe lasagna.
For most of her professional career, Kay ran her own childcare service. She helped educate children, nursed them when they were sick and was available 24 hours a day for children whose parents had to do shift work. She had a huge compassionate heart and was always giving to various charities. Her greatest love and comfort was being with her family, who will deeply miss her.
In addition to Kay’s parents, she is preceded in death by two sisters, Mary and Ann.
Kay’s memory will forever be cherished by her son, Richard Throneberry (Rita) of Decatur, Alabama; daughter, Tina McDaniel (Steve) of Tanner, Alabama; son, Lee Faulkner (special friend, Heather McGill) of Somerville, Alabama; granddaughter, Mulan Throneberry of Decatur, Alabama; one nephew; two nieces; and many friends.
