Dessa Louise Brown, 73, passed away on Sunday, March 13, 2022. Dessa was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Andrew Brown, who died on December 17, 2017; parents, David and Martha Nesmith; brother, Daniel Nesmith. She is survived by her son, Andre Maurice Brown.
Dessa was born in Guntersville, Alabama. She was a teller at First Alabama Bank and Regions Bank for nearly 30 years. Dessa was a kind and thoughtful person who will be missed by many family members and friends.
Public viewing will be held on Friday, March 18, 2022 from 4:00pm until 7:00pm and Saturday, March 19, 2022 from 10:00am until 11:00am at Valhalla Funeral Home. Graveside Services will be on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at 12:00pm at Valhalla Memory Gardens at the Chapel of Peace Mausoleum.
