Donna K Searcy

Donna K Searcy, age 69, of Toney, Alabama passed away on Friday, February 24, 2023. It is with broken but mended heart we announce the reunion of Donna and her Romeo in heaven. She was a wife, mother, Nana, and great Nana. She spent her life taking care of people as a waitress and many customer service roles, spreading smiles and laughter along the way. She was a bright shiny star that lit up any room she was in. She loved taking care of people and making them laugh. In her spare time, she loved to read her bible, watch old movies, and shows, Andy Griffith was her favorite, gardening and taking care of her family and pets, she loved her animals. Donna had a bubbly personality, she never met a stranger, she loved to talk and share stories with whoever was willing to listen and those who just couldn't walk away. Donna gave her life to the Lord, and it brings her family peace knowing she is dancing in heaven with the love of her life. She will be missed by many.

Donna is survived by her daughters Sherri Coons, and Jennifer Bell; four grandchildren Jessy (Kellie), Aaron “Buddy” (Elizabeth), Brooke, CJ; and six great grandchildren Noah, Abby, Emma, Jace, and

Charlotte, Grayson. She was the eldest and her 4 siblings are, a twin to Wanda Lund, Betty “Shotsie” Turner, Debbie Calhoun (Nicky), brother Mike Jensen (Teresa).

Donna was preceded in death by her "Romeo" Joseph L Searcy, parents Joe and Betty Jensen.

A gathering for Donna will be held Friday, March 3, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Valhalla Funeral Home, 698 Winchester Rd Ne, Huntsville, Alabama 35811, followed by a celebration of life at 2:00 PM.
