

Hazel Aloline Jacks Brady, age 95, of Huntsville, AL passed away on Tuesday, October 10, 2023. Mrs. Brady was born in Madison County, AL on January 9, 1928. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Jesse Roadman Brady; parents, Shields Fulton Jacks and Onic Odell Rosebrough Jacks/Lincoln; brother, Billy Eugene Jacks; stepbrother, James Lloyd Lincoln, stepsister, Helen Lincoln Reynolds, son, Don Warren Brady.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Prescilla Gail Brady Ayres (Hugh), Katy Jane Brady-Heaton (Robert), Kem Earl Brady; grandchildren, Tracey Elizabeth Ayres, Hugh Leon (Lee) Ayres, III, Matthew Brady Parker (Martha); great grandchildren, Nora Hazel Ayres, Henry Rothwell Ayres, Piper Elyse Parker and twins Martha Hazel Parker, Charles Alexander Parker; along with numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Mrs. Brady was a lifetime resident of Madison County, AL, growing up in New Market, AL. She attended Plevna School. She was a homemaker and merchandiser of various products in grocery stores. Mrs. Brady enjoyed many years attending Jackson Way Baptist Church, where she was a Sunday School Teacher, Vacation Bible School Teacher and President of the Women’s Missionary Union (WMU). Her hobbies included cooking, sewing, spending time with family, friends, and the celebration of Christmas.
You may visit with the family on Sunday, October 15, 2023 from 4:00pm until 6:00pm at Valhalla Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, October 16, 2023 at 11:00am in Valhalla’s Celebration Chapel, with Rev. Rob Peavy and Rev. John Pond officiating. Interment will immediately follow services at Valhalla Memory Gardens in the Garden of Valor. Memorial donations may be made to Jackson Way Baptist Church Debt Relief Fund in Mrs. Brady’s honor.
