Hilliard Wayne King

February 3, 1957 – June 16, 2016

Hilliard Wayne King, 59 of Huntsville, AL passed away Thursday, June 16, 2016. Hilliard was born in Lawrence County, Indiana. He graduated from Mitchell High School in 1975. He was employed with Carpenter Body works, at Visteon for 30 years, and most recently was working for Old South Cleaning Service. Hilliard was a member of Fairview Church of Christ in his earlier years and of Chase Park Church of Christ at his time of death. Hilliard enjoyed playing music as a member of the popular band SOUTHERN NIGHTS, woodworking, restoring and customizing cars and watching Indiana Basketball.

Mr. King was preceded in death by his wife, Jane King; mother, Virginia King Stroud; father, Charles W. King; grandson, Isaiah King; sister, Shirley Ann King. He is survived by his three daughters, Hilliary Lee (Robert), Erica Lewis (Anthony), Tasha Jane King; three grandsons, Shawn, Johnny, Max; two special ladies, Kay Fish, Judy Deck; siblings, William King (Sharon), Michael King (Shelia), Carolyn Sue Lovelace (Fred), Martha Row (Tim), Vonda King, Vicki Lovelace (Don); and a host of nieces and nephews.

You may visit with the family on Friday, June 24, 2016 at Valhalla Funeral Home from 5:00pm until 8:00pm. Funeral Services will be Saturday, June 25, 2016 at 11:00am in Valhalla’s Chapel, with Michael L. King officiating. Entombment will immediately follow in the Valhalla Memory Gardens.
