Sorry for the family's loss.  James was a pleasure to work with at Boeing.

We got to know Jim, when he joined the Gideons North Camp in 2016.  He became a dear friend.  He and a group of men built a handicap ramp at our house, when Eddie became unable to use the steps that led into our backyard.  Jim was so faithful to come to visit Eddie just about every Thursday, while I was in Texas undergoing treatments, and continued his visits till The Lord called Eddie to his Heavenly Home this past January.   Eddie enjoyed his visits so much! 
Being in the Auxiliary, Jim always made sure that we had a good supply of Bibles and Medical Testaments for our Scripture distribution to the doctors offices.
AnnaLee and family - You are in my prayers.  The Lord will give you the strength needed to face each day.  We know that The Lord is Faithful!

I was new to Huntsville in 1963 and I met Jimmy in Jr.High at Whitesburg I believe. I remember he was a welcoming friend to newcomers.  He was always one of the friends I admired and tried to keep up with academically.  He was everyone's friend! I am glad I will see him in  "the great cloud of witnesses"!

Jimmy and Anna Lee were our neighbors in Auburn. We spent so many good times together in those days. They helped us so much with our little daughter, Heather and we were all family. I know Jimmy is in Heaven , our love goes to Anna Lee thru these days. So thankful we reconnected in the last few years. Steve and Amy Beth Pressnell

So very sorry to hear this about Jim but I know Jim is with the LORD.  I had the pleasure of working with Jim for many years on Space Station and PAC 3 for Boeing.  He was always very professional and helpful.  He always went above and beyond and continued to serve his community.  Prayers for his family as I know he will be deeply missed.

“Good and faithful servant” keeps coming to my mind about Jimmy.  He not only took care of his family, helped at church, volunteered when a disaster occurred, but he was also a good neighbor -always ready to lend a hand in his kind and gracious manner.  I still remember how quickly he dealt with a tree root that had interfered with a water pipe going to the neighborhood pavilion.  He had a nice sharp axe and took care of it with expertise and efficiency.  The HOA was grateful and I was impressed!  His thoughtful, caring demeanor and presence will be greatly missed.💕

I have known Jimmy since the late ‘80s when I began working in the inner-city bus ministry at our church, Whitesburg Baptist.  Jimmy drove the bus and faithfully worked in the bus ministry for several decades.  Jimmy was a faithful member/leader for 9 years in the International Gideons, serving as scripture chairman in the North Camp of the Huntsville Gideons.  His service touched many lives, and many were led to Christ.  Jimmy also served faithfully in the Southern Baptist Disaster Relief through the local Madison Baptist Association.  He was a leader there as well.  Jimmy exemplified Christ in his service.  He was patient, kind, knowledgeable, giving, and I could keep going.  He leaves behind a great hole to be filled.  I will truly miss him.

Jimmy was one of the sweetest, kindest, most Godly men I’ve met. We loved him and will certainly miss him!

Jimmy was a dear friend for nearly 50 years beginning as students at Auburn  majoring in forestry.  Our friendship blossomed with 3 other forestry students during Summer Camp. We have continued getting together annually for our forest union each summer. Jimmy was such a loving husband, father, son  and special friend to all who knew him. A true servant who loved God  first in his life, his family, friends and his neighbor. Jimmy you were such a godly man and so thankful for your example and testimony of Christ. My heart is broken but I rejoice knowing we will see each other again, “Praising our Heavenly Father,” in Paradise. I love you Jimmy Dunn and will always remember our times together on this earth. ❤️❤️

I am sadden to hear this. Jim was a pleasure to work with and a great help any time he was needed. He was a super person.

A great man has left this earth. I had the pleasure and privilege of working with Jim for many years.  He was always the calm in the storm, the voice of reason, and the person you could count on.  Rest in peace my friend.

I had the extreme privilege of working with Jim for many years at Boeing. Jim was an island of calm in any storm. Well centered in faith and always a special kind man to share time with.

Jim was absolutely one of the best. I will always cherish the years we worked together of the Space Station program. He was a dear Friend. He and my Brother Jimbo can sit with each other and talk about Bama football.

Jim Dunn was one of the greatest men I have ever known. I worked with him for many years and he was my mentor.  He embodied goodness and I will miss knowing he is no longer walking this earth but I know he is with The Lord. Rest in peace my dear friend.
