RET SGT Keith Wayne Chance, age 60, of Owens Cross Roads, Alabama passed away on Sunday, May 14, 2023. Keith was born in Birmingham, AL on October 12, 1962. He was preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth Chance; sister, Karen Mundi, mother, Ruth Chance; father, Earl Chance.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Franchesca Chance; son, Jason Chance, four daughters, Brittany Chance, Franchesca Quijano, Elizabeth Ossa and Analia Ramirez.
Keith served in the United States Army and National Guard for a combined 22 years, with 7 years on active duty in Germany and Korea. He was a committed and dedicated member of the armed forces. Keith's final duty station was the Department of the Army Redstone Arsenal in Alabama, where he worked as a security guard for 18 years until his passing. His service to his country will be remembered with gratitude and respect.
