Kenishia Latrice Austin, age 45, passed away peacefully on May 23, 2026. She was born on July 22, 1980, in Birmingham, Alabama, to Beatrice P. Austin and Kenneth Austin. She was raised in Birmingham, where she lived until later moving to Huntsville, Alabama. Kenishia will be remembered for her smile, love, strength, and the special bond she shared with those closest to her.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Beatrice P. Austin, and her father, Kenneth Austin.
She leaves to cherish her memory her sister, Candice Lenhardt (Josh); her beloved nieces, Bless and Jalyse; and her nephew, Elliott, along with many family members and loved ones who will deeply miss her presence.
Kenishia’s memory will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
