Huntsville – Mrs. Lovella Thorne Jenkins, 87, of Huntsville died Friday, October 10 at 4:40 P.M., at her home after an extended illness. Visitation will be

Monday, October 13 from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the Valhalla Funeral Home, 698 Winchester Road, Huntsville, Alabama. The funeral will be Tuesday, at

3:00 P.M. on October 14, 2014 at Valhalla Funeral Home, with Tom Holland and Ancil Jenkins officiating.

Mrs. Jenkins, a native of Huntsville, was a member of West Huntsville Church of Christ and lived her life serving her Lord, Jesus Christ. She was

affectionately known by her grandchildren and great- grandchildren as Maw Maw.

Survivors include her husband, William Randall Jenkins (Lefty) of Huntsville; a son, Randy (Janet) Jenkins of Hazel Green, AL; three sisters, Marie Tinsley,

Carolyn Taylor and Becky (Bob) McRoy and one brother, Jimmy Thorne; five grandchildren, Leah (John) Wright, Toby (Bethany) Jenkins, Jared (Haley)

Coffell, Brent Jenkins and Katie (Andy) Norris; six great- grandchildren; our faithful caregiver, Theresa Bunker; and a host of other family members and

friends. Mrs. Jenkins was preceded in death by her daughter, Brenda Coffell.
