Michael Angelo Burton was born May 25, 1955 in Mobile, Alabama to the late Bob and Bama Bell Burton. Michael attended Daphne Elementary School and graduated from Daphne High School in 1973. He attended Alabama A&M University, where he was a member of the ROTC. As a member of the ROTC, he received the Pershing Rifles Outstanding Appearance and Proficiency in Drill Award. Michael attended the Meat Cutting Program in Daphne and worked in Meat Production Services. Michael's hobbies were playing tennis and basketball. His sports nickname was "Sugar Bear"
Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Bama Bell Burton, his sister Callie Jones and brother James Earl Burton. He leaves to cherish his precious memories his brother, Robert Burton (Ami), sister Jackie Smiley, sister-in-law Annette N. Burton, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
