Today marks a year you transition to a better life. I will always remember you. I think about you all the time, and me caring for you left a huge impact on my life and the way I continue to care for others. Rest in peace. From Jemetrius (your caregiver)

Dear Marie and family,

While I did not have the pleasure of meeting your sweet mom I have enjoyed the stories you have shared about her through the years on Facebook and also when we worked together. I could always hear in your voice the love and compassion you had for your mom. 

I will also say she raised a wonderful daughter in you. You must have inherited her wit and charm !

Please know I am thinking of you, your family and your mom and sending hugs from Texas.  

May God give you and your family comfort during this time. Praying for you all to have peace during this difficult period of transition.

Phyllis and my mom met 90 years ago in September 1934. They were kindergarten desk mates at Assumption School in Chicopee MA. Mom and Aunt Phyll remained close friends until my mom passed in 2015. 
Some of my earliest memories involve "Aunt Phyll" and mom. When she was here in Chicopee, they were often together. When deployed or Uncle John was deployed, they remained in close touch. They were more sisters than friends. However, I will end with a poem Aunt Phyll wrote in my moms memory journal many decades ago.
"Friendship is like china
costly and rare.
If broken it may be mended,
but the crack is always there."
Their friendsip never broke or cracked and now they are all together once again.
My deepest condolences to Al, Marie and Theresa.

It is good to hear that Phyllis is where she always wanted to be! I remember her as praying before mass at the Bicentennial Chapel. She had a nice collection of prayers!
Driving her home from the chapel  she loved to talk about meeting her husband and their early years of marriage.
She is with her husband and Maureen and the other Phyllis and especially the Lord!
She was a lovely lady with a big heart!

Sorry for your our loss and praying for the family

My sincere condolences to family and friends. I have some great stories to tell about Ms. McCune but I’ll just sum it up with she was a sweetheart and had a great sense of humor till her last breath. I was fortunate enough to be there by her side along with her two wonderful daughters to witness her transition to her party that she spoke of a day before her passing. My farewell words to her was please don’t party too hard because I know you will be rejoicing on the other side. Rest well from your caregiver with much love.

I know you were retired military as most of us that went to Mass at the Our Lady of The Valley.  We were all one big family and we are still a family.  I remember the time that I took you to buy that car, and I road with you, when you took it for a test drive.  Phyllis may you rest in Peace.

How proud you were, telling Rob and I that you were 95!  That was the last time we saw each other (at Maureen Sumera’s funeral where we shared a table at the reception).  Rest In Peace, Phyllis, I will always remember our racing  with each other to the Fellowship Hall at the 
Bicentennial Chapel - of course you had the nicest canes ever!  God bless you and your loving family,
