Robbie O. Longoria, age 82, of Huntsville, passed away on Thursday, May 26, 2022. Robbie was born November 17, 1939 in Pulaski, TN to William and Mary Fogg. She had six siblings. Robbie was a graduate of Hazel Green High School where she met many of her lifelong friends.
In 1957, Robbie met her husband Ezekiel “Zeke” Longoria in Huntsville where they spent 47 years together building a family. As an Army wife, she was blessed to have the opportunity to live across the U.S. and Germany. She was a member of Faith Chapel for more than 30 years where she recruited for the “Double Nickels” fellowship and had a knack for decorating at various church functions.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters; Donna Hydrick, husband Phillip; Charmaine Burgin, husband Kenny; four grandchildren, Jessica Hydrick, Ryan Hydrick, Morgan Sutton, and Chase Sutton.
She was preceded in death by her lifelong companion Zeke and her beloved grandson Brandon Hydrick.
Visitation will be held Friday June 3, 2022 at 10:00 AM, followed by a going home celebration at 11:00 AM at Faith Chapel, 3913 Pulaski Pike NW, Huntsville, AL, 35810. Following the service, she will be laid to rest at Valhalla Memory Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Faith Chapel, at the address above, to help support the Food Pantry Community Outreach Program that helps feed the elderly and those in need. Please note “Robbie” in the memo so the funds, will be allotted appropriately.
