It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Sharon Kay Pendrey, who passed away on October 12, 2024. Sharon was a beacon of love and kindness, whose presence will be deeply missed by everyone whose life she touched.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Carl Wise, and her sister Rita Wise. She is survived by her devoted daughter Dawn Killoran and her beloved granddaughter Scarlett Killoran, who were the center of her world. Sharon is also survived by her sisters Gail Powers and Shirley Wise, her brother Lowel Wise, and many cherished nieces and nephews: Kimberly, Amanda, Kevin, CD, Michael, Amber, Monica, Little Shirley, and Mandy.
Sharon was known for her giving heart and loving nature. She had a vibrant personality and loved to socialize and spend time with her family. She was passionate about country music, enjoyed line dancing, and took joy in attending church, where she was an active member. Sharon had a soft spot for muscle cars and loved spending time at the beach, even though the sun was not always her friend. Her love for animals was another reflection of her kind spirit, and she was always eager to care for them.
A "Rose of Sharon Celebration of Life" will be held on November 2, 2024, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Dawn’s residence, where family and friends will gather to share memories and celebrate her beautiful spirit.
In honor of her generous spirit, the family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the family to assist with medical and cremation expenses.
Sharon Kay Pendrey will be remembered for the joy and light she brought to every moment and every person she encountered. Though she is no longer with us, her legacy will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
