Doyle Wayne Owens, 82, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 with his loving family by his side. Mr. Owens was preceded in death by his parents, William Lester and Martha Ellen Lassley Owens; his son, Wayne Dee Owens; 9 brothers and 1 sister.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Barbara Jean Crouch Owens; son, Clifford Owens (Jana), Oklahoma City, OK; daughter, Mary Ellen Owens Altazan (Shannon), Ethel, LA; brother, Cecil Owens, Cleveland, Ok; 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. The family also acknowledges special friend of the family, Pam Wise; and Care Giver, Shirley McCormick.
Wayne Owens was a member of the Lincoln Church of Christ and was a retiree of the US Air Force.
Visitation is at Valhalla Funeral Home on Friday, January 15, 2016 from 5:30 until 7:00 pm. There will be a Celebration of Life conducted by Brother Ron Williams in Valhalla’s Chapel commencing at 7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers please make donations to: Parkinson Support Group, P. O.
