He was born March 20, 1968, to Ronald and Eugenia “Jeannie” Fahle. On July 22, 2000, he and his wife Karen officially started their forever love story. She survives with their daughters Kennedy and Klaudia. He was extraordinarily devoted to his family and valued all of his time with them. Brian cherished his role as their protector and provider and often said, “I love loving them.” Other survivors include his mother Jeannie; sister Amy (Jim) Humphrey; and two nieces, Madelyn (Joey) Sliger and Chloe Humphrey.
Brian will be remembered for his selflessness, servant heart, loyalty, generosity, and cheerfulness. Brian was a fierce athletic competitor and constantly active. He excelled at many sports, especially pickleball, tennis, running, hiking, and hockey. He enjoyed traveling and always was planning their family’s next excursion.
Brian’s essence was especially evident during health challenges. He was an inspirational warrior, showing unshakable strength, resiliency and positivity. He also modeled honesty, tenderness and appreciation for life’s simple joys.
Brian’s professional accomplishments were numerous and hard-earned. He was a mentor to many, particularly his team members who consistently learned from his innovative and growth mindset. Prior to founding Main Event in 2001, he worked in medical sales for Ridge Medical. Brian was a Lawrence North High School and Indiana University graduate.
Brian was a member of St. Luke’s United Methodist Church, Young Entrepreneurs’ Organization, volunteered for the Christel DeHaan foundation, and participated in several home builds for Homes for Hope.
