Jessica was born October 5, 1987 in Indianapolis to James L. & Julie (Geurin) Beattey, IV. She was a 2006 graduate of Hamilton Southeastern High School. She earned her undergraduate degree in French from Hillsdale College where she was a member of Chi Omega Sorority. Later, Jessica earned her MBA from Ball State University. She loved travel and had worked for RCI and most recently, Republic Airways.
Jessica’s spirit for adventure took her around the globe. She was always on the move and cherished her experiences exploring the cultures, cuisines and corners of the world. She had especially fond memories of her trips to France, Italy, and Ireland and any sunny beach where she could work on her tan – including Klinger Lake where the family spent many of their summers.
When at home, she never passed on an opportunity to be together with family and friends. She loved being Aunt Titi to her three nieces more than anything else in life.
Jessica was preceded in death by her grandparents, James L. Beattey, III and Bart & Betty Geurin.
She is survived by her devoted parents, James L. “Jay” & Julie G. Beattey, IV; her loving sister, Jackie (Drew) Perius; her very grateful nieces, Scarlett, Riley & Ellie; beloved grandmother, Marilyn Beattey; dear aunts & uncles, Merrie Lynn Beattey, Jeff (Paula) Beattey, Mollie (Adam) Smith, Brad (Cathy) Geurin and Brian Geurin; her kitty, Kimmy-Katdashian and a host of beloved cousins and close friends.
Friends and family will gather at Church at the Crossing on Saturday, February 14th at 1:30pm, followed by a celebration of life at 2:00pm.
The family would like to invite family and friends to a reception at the District Tap (3720 E, 82nd Street – Indianapolis) from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. There’s no better way to send her off than with a toast at the bar!
