Nancy B. Mason

Nancy B. Mason died May 18, 2026. She was born July 24, 1932, in Rochester, MN, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Everette Bumgarner. She graduated from Rochester High School, Rochester Junior College and later earned a BA degree from Indiana University. She married Dr. Norman Mason in June 1953 and enjoyed 73 years together.

Nancy was active in the United Methodist Church in whatever city she was in. While at United Methodist Church in Indianapolis she taught a children's Sunday School class, was active in the WSCS and spent time as a lay member on the Board of Ordained Ministry. An aspiring writer, she had articles published in the Indianapolis Star and “Teacher in The Church Today”.

Nancy is survived by her husband, Norm, two children, Charles Mason and Susan Scudiery, and their spouses Dorothy Hindman-Mason and Fred Scudiery. She had four grandchildren Carmen, Jennifer (deceased), Jacob and William. Her two younger sisters Janice Williams and Shirley Meusch, a brother-in-law, Jack Williams and niece, Holly Meusch preceded her in death. Survivors also include three great grandchildren Mathilda, Annabel, Jonathan and their father, Laurent Sanquer-Mason.
