Peggy Anderson

Peggy Anderson, 95, of Indianapolis, formerly of Cincinnati, OH departed this life Sunday, October 11, 2020. She was born February 23, 1925 in Wabash, Indiana to the late Gordon L. and Pauline G. (nee Phillips) Potter. Peggy worked most of her life as a registered nurse. She had worked in hospitals in Indianapolis, Boston, and Cincinnati. Peggy had also worked with the late Dr. George Parker as a pediatric nurse. She worked and raised her family with care and dedication. She was a mentor and trainer to many other nurses over the years and rarely missed an opportunity to make a difference in someone’s life. She was handy around the home, was accomplished at crafts, enjoyed sewing and loved her family with all of her heart. Peggy was a member of Forest Park United Methodist Church in Cincinnati, The American Legion Auxiliary and Parish Nurse Ministry. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, George Robert Anderson and siblings, Phyllis Martin, Linda Adams and William Potter. Peggy is survived by her loving children, Margaret (Dennis) Barlow, Jon Anderson, Eric (Margaret) Anderson and Kathy Wilson; and her dear eleven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Visitation for Peggy will be from 1 – 3 pm on Wednesday, October 14th at Leppert Mortuary – Nora Chapel. Graveside services will commence at 12:00 noon on Thursday, October 15th at Crown Hill Memorial Park Cemetery in Cincinnati, Ohio. Memorial contributions are suggested in Peggy’s name to the American Heart Association. Face masks and social distancing are required for all guests.
