 Obituario de Peter John Cislak
Peter John Cislak born June 26th, 1931, left this world on September 28, 2019. Preceded him in death, his parents, Francis Edward Cislak, Jeanette Huling CIslak and Lois Martin Cislak. He will join his wife of 64 years, Margaret Noble Cislak and son, David John Cislak in heaven. Peter graduated from Shortridge High School. He received an undergraduate and a double Masters Degree from Purdue University. Besides teaching computer languages at IUPUI, DePauw University and Mathematics at Purdue, Peter spent 20 years at Reilly Industries in various capacities, ending his career there as Plant manager. Peter served in the Army and rose to the rank of Master Sargent. He was on the first line of defense during the cold war as a Nike missile operator. He was truly defined as a family man. He and the love of his life, Margaret travelled the world in retirement. They enjoyed many cruises through Europe and the warm waters of the Caribbean, often with family members. Peter truly believed in helping out where he could. He was an usher at St. Luke Catholic Church for over 30 years, town clerk of Williams Creek for over 25 years. He served as Vice-President of the Indiana chapter of the Mayflower Descendants Society, and a 4th Degree Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed researching family genealogy and also needlepoint. He and mother designed and created the entire suite of dining room chairs for their home. He made a needlepoint stocking for all of his great-grandchildren and several family members. Peter is survived by his children, Gregory Noble Cislak (Catherine), Carol Margaret De Smul (Pierre) and Susan Marie Sokolsky. He leaves behind five Grandchildren, Clifton Boyd Cislak (Anya), Mary Margaret Tresize (Andrew), Adrian Francis De Smul, Neil Peter De Smul and Francis Preston Cislak. He was blessed with five great-grandchildren, Aaron Noble Cislak, Kira Madeline Cislak, Sarah Margaret Tresize, Thomas Carter Tresize and Catherine Louise Tresize. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to St. Luke Catholic Church7575 Holliday Dr E, Indianapolis, IN 46260.
