 Obituario de Susan Wente Muller
Susan Wente Muller, 70, of Indianapolis, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, February 9, 2020 surrounded by her loving family just as it started to snow, which she loved. Susan was born on January 2, 1950 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Joseph Robert and Marion (Abrams) Wente. She graduated from Arlington High School and spent two years meeting lifelong friends at Indiana University. After a 38-year career with AT&T/Indiana Bell, Susan began her long-awaited retirement in 2008. She spent her post-retirement years quilting, gardening, traveling, and enjoying time with her friends and family (especially her grandkids). We will always remember her sass, creativity, selflessness, and dry sense of humor. In addition to her parents, Susan was preceded in death by her beloved brother Bob. She will be fiercely missed by her children, Jenny (Aaron) Hamblin and David (Lindsay) Muller; grandchildren Maryn and Nolan Hamblin, Samuel Muller and Clementine Chin; cherished sister-in-law Carolyn Wente; nieces and nephews, Brian (Heather) Wente, Kevin (Tammy) Wente, and Anita (Dan) Short; favorite aunts, Lois Patterson and Sister Therese Wente; her cat, Oliver; three granddogs; and numerous extended family members and dear friends. Visitation for Susan will take place at Leppert Mortuary Nora Chapel on Saturday, February 15 from 2:00pm until a Celebration of Life at 4:00pm. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to World Vision (donate.worldvision.org/giftcatalog) through a gift of your choice. As we will be celebrating a fiesty and lively woman, we ask that you please wear bright colors instead of traditional funeral attire.
