Our condolences to the entire MacIsaac Family. 

As "come from aways", living near Inverness in the mid-seventies, we became good friends with Adrian. He was a terrific guy, who graciously agreed to be "best man" at our wedding. We have such fond memories of Adrian and that day.

Adrian was part of the very fabric of our family, from as early as I can remember. He and Mom were the best of buddies from the time they were little kids growing up on the same street in Inverness. They may as well have been brother and sister, given how close they always were - moving out West, working together at Unemployment Insurance, and the City of Calgary, and celebrating all the major milestones of life.

Adrian was such a good soul.  Oh how we'd laugh and carry on when we all got together.  I remember very fondly his contagious and unique laugh - which was more "snort" than laughter. My sister Lynn and I were fondly referred to as his "little buddies" and "pumpkins", nicknames our children Kallum, Alasdair, and Scott quickly were called too.  

Christmas at Mom and Joe's always included Adrian, as he was just one of the family.  We also spent a good many days playing auction and crib.  And the conversations we had!  Talk about a repository of all things Cape Breton, and everything you ever wanted know about history in general. He and Joe and Kendal and Steve could talk for days on end about such things.  

Our boys, now young men, loved to play cards with Adrian.  He was always up for a hand of something. 

At these gatherings, talk would always circle back to "home".  We were so glad when Adrian returned home a few years back.  Like a true Cape Bretoner, this is where his heart had always been afterall. 

We are all better for having known and loved Adrian.  He was a good man, with a big heart who enriched all of our lives.

May he rest in peace.

I used to see Adrian walking by but I did not know who he was. Then my sister told me he was Neil's brother. Just before Christmas I was at the Co-op
and he was just coming in as I was also.  So I introduced myself and we shook hands.  We talked about the weather etc.  He told me he knew my sister Alma.  I'm so glad that I met him and got to talk with him.  You just never know eh?

He seemed like such a kind-hearted person.  May his soul and all the souls of the faithful departed by the Mercy of God rest in peace.

Sorry to hear that Adrian has passed away. He was my boss when I worked in Unemployment, he looked after his staff and always made us feel safe in bad situations. We were all like a family. My condolences on the passing of Adrian. I knew him from out west when he lived in Calgary. He visited our home in Canmore (Bernie and Edith Jack D Macdonald Coady). He brought a lot of great memories of Inverness to them. I was blessed to run into him in the street in Inverness a year ago. May the good memories of him fill your hearts to help with your loss
