It's with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Tina at the QE2 while surrounded by her family on March 26, 2024, after a long battle with Scleroderma.
Tina was the daughter of Theresa LeBlanc. She was born in Cheticamp on September 10, 1959. She moved to Port Hood with her mother where they joined the Cameron Family.
She is survived by her mother, Theresa LeBlanc; children, Amanda (Bernie) MacDonald, Tyson MacDonald; and her partner, George Urquhart.
She was predeceased by stepfather, John Clarence Cameron; first husband, John Archie MacDonald; and grandson; Jacob.
Tina was a fun-loving soul, generous beyond measure. She was strong willed through all of her health issues. She enjoyed community events, her love for Bingo, her cats and the fur grand puppies. She enjoyed singing and playing music in her younger years. Tina enjoyed stock car races and horse races. Above all was her love for her children. Amanda and Tyson were her pride and joy.
She was employed at the NSLC in Port Hood for many years until her diagnoses. Through those years she enjoyed meeting many people and working in her community.
Visitation will be held in Port Hood and Area Resting Place on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, from 2-4pm and 7-9pm.
Her celebration of life will be held in St. Peter's Parish Church on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at 11am.
A lunch will be provided at the Port Hood Parish Hall after the service. Burial to be held at a later date.
Donations can be made to Scleroderma Atlantic.
