Jeanette Campbell, of Riverville/Lower Sackville, passed away suddenly but peacefully on June 21st, 2016, at her residence in Lower Sackville. Jeanette "Nettie" will be remembered for her loving smile, generous heart, and never-ending hospitality. Any visit with Nettie didn’t officially begin until she had fixed her guests the most hearty ‘tea’ one could ask for. Although she lived in Halifax for most of her working life, she was most happy in her family home in Black River where she had spent the last number of years since her retirement. She is predeceased by her mother and father, Mary (MacDonald) and Donald (Malcolm) Campbell. She is survived by her sister, Whilomena and brothers, Malcolm (Christina), Bryden (Patsy), Alexander (Mary), and Francis (Colleen). Nettie loved all of her nieces and nephews and their children like her own. Visitation will be held Sunday, June 26th, 2-4pm and 7-9pm with funeral mass at 11am, Monday, June 27th 2016 at Saint Mary’s Church, Mabou, with burial in the Parish Cemetery. Memorial donations to Saint Mary’s Parish Cemetery Fund, Mabou, or charity of choice. On line condolences may be made to www.invernessfuneralhome.com
