MacKinnon Mary Euphemia – 67, Skye Glen, formerly of Hays River, Inverness Co., passed away on Thursday December 1, 2011, at home. Born in Hays River on April 29, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Allan and Annie Laurie (Smith) MacKinnon. She was a member of St. John’s United Church, Strathlorne. Mary is survived by cousins, Norman and Allan MacKinnon, Kayanna MacLean, Inverness; Ruth Miller, Hays River; Margie Smith, Halifax; and Ruth Powell, Massachusetts. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held in St. Matthew’s United Church, Inverness on Thursday from 10-10:45 a.m. with funeral service to follow at 11 a.m. Rev. Maggie Plant celebrating, burial to follow in St. John’s Cemetery, Strathlorne. Donations may be made to Citizens Caring for Animals or to a Charity of your choice.
