Russell Clark Timmons

Timmons, Russell Clark - Of Hatchet Lake. Surrounded by his loving family, peacefully passed away on October 29th, 2012, after a lenghtly stay in the hospital. Russell retired from Clover Produce where he was employed for many years. He is survived by his darling wife, Elizabeth "Betty" (MacDonald); his family of two sons, Rodney and John, whom he knew he could always count on, both at home ; daughters all of which were individually his favorite for their different qualities, Elizabeth"Beth" and Darla, at home ; Wendy and Heather (Tommy) of Prospect. he was predeceased by both parents, Ernest and Elizabeth; as well as older brother, Elmer and younger brothers, Wendall and recently , Francis Timmons, (all of Pleasant Bay, Cape Breton).

Creamation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 3rd at 4:15 pm in Saint Andrews United Church, officiated by Rev. Marrgie Wood, with a reception immediately following in Pleasant Bay Whale Center.

Another memorial reception will be held in Halifax on Saturday, November 17th from 1-4 pm in the Whites Lake Legion.
