Theresa Gillis

It is with heavy hearts and loving memories of stories, laughter and love that we announce the passing of our beautiful mom Theresa. She passed

peacefully on Jan 21st surrounded by her family at the Inverness Hospital.

Theresa enjoyed her career as a CNA working at St Mary's Hospital, Mary's Hill Home, Inverary Manor and Dept. of Health with Dr Vincent

McMaster. She was a devouted member of Stella Maris Parish and CWL. She also enjoyed her knitting, Bingo nights, card games, fiddle music, and her pets.

Theresa will be sadly missed by children, Eric Gillis(Maureen), Luann McFarland, Kathleen Wilton(Neil), Joey Gillis(Joudi).

siblings, Lorette Yipp(Roy), Joe Feehan (Maria),Sheila Feehan, Verna Peters(Ted), Duane Feehan and Floyd Feehan;

her grandchildren, Sarah, John, Katie, Moriah, Nicholas, Mary,Clayton,

Jessica, Daniel, Robert, Alex and Genieve; great-grandchildren, Ava, Morgan, Kaylee, Merle and Spenser.

Theresa is predeceased by her husband, Alexander Gillis; three sons in infancy; her parents, Dan Hughie and Katie MacIsaac; her mother, Verginia

Feehan; brother, Sextus Feehan; sister, Lally(Delores) Feehan; and daughter- inlaw Dyney(Lelievere) Gillis. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 27 in Stella Maris Church, Inverness from 10-10:45 a.m. with funeral mass to follow at 11 am., Fr. Duncan MacIsaac officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery at a later date.You will be greatly missed Mom.
