Christopher Wade Griffin

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 15, 2011 at Dutton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Craig McCracken officiating. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home.

Chris was born November 6, 1975 in Austell, Georgia to Danny E. and Joy Gray Griffin. He was raised in the Iowa Park/Wichita Falls area and moved to Arlington in 2001. He and Angela Petty were married July 28, 1995 in Wichita Falls, Texas. He worked in the HVAC department at UT of Arlington.

His father, Danny, preceded him in death.

His survivors include his wife, Angela of Arlington; a son Devin Christopher of Arlington; his mother, Joy Griffin of Wichita Falls; his sister, Staci L. Johnson and husband, Steve and two children, Maycie and Danika of Wichita Falls, his grandfather, Jerry E. Griffin of Wichita Falls; several aunts, uncles and cousins and a host of friends.

We want our memories of you to be happy ones, we would like for there to be an after-glow of smiles. We would like for there to be an echo whispering softly down the ways of happy times and laughing times and bright and summer days. We want our tears of grief to dry before the sun. You will remain with us for love itself lives on.

Memorials are suggested to the American Kidney Association.

The family will receive friends Friday, January 14, 2011 from 6 until 8 p.m. at Dutton Funeral Home Chapel.
