Funeral services will be at 2 pm Monday, December 9, 2013 at Cornerstone Church with Pastor Daniel Graham, officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home of Iowa Park, Texas.
Flora was born, June 14, 1937 in Dayton, Ohio to Elmer Joseph and Thelma Huff McFarland. She and John William Sherwood were married September 12, 1954 in Richmond, Indiana. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Cornerstone Church and was always the life of any party. She was a joy to be around and loved by everyone who knew her.
Her parents, husband, son, Ronnie and siblings, Betty Davis and Harry Allen preceded her in death.
She is survived by a sister, Alice Roberts of Wichita Falls, a brother, Elwood McFarland of Florida and several nieces and nephews and great and great-great nieces and nephews.
