Gene Autry Williams

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at Dutton Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Chris Klien, a nephew, officiating. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home of Iowa Park, Texas.

Gene was born December 7, 1936 in Sherman, Texas to Jack and Gerline Simmons Williams. He was a self employed painter. He and Patricia Ann Woolf were married January 3, 1959 in Lockett, Texas. He served in the US Army. He lived most of his life in Iowa Park.

His parents, wife and a brother, Jack Edward Williams preceded him in death.

His survivors include his children, Greg Williams and wife, Janice of Rogers, Arkansas and Renee Hensley of Iowa Park, Texas; sister, Martha Ray of Iowa Park; brother Jimmie Williams of Wichita Falls, Texas; grandchildren, Russell Williams and Amber Moenning of Rogers, Arkansas, Scott Williams and Ashley of Wichita Falls, Texas and Caleb Hensley of Denton, Texas; great grandsons, Aubri Martin and Landon Martin.

Visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m. Monday, April 9, 2012 at Dutton Funeral Home Chapel.

Memorials are suggested to American Hospice, Wichita Falls or the Alzheimers Association.
