

George Milton Davis, 90, passed away Wednesday, December 16, 2020 in Bauxite, Arkansas. Funeral services will be held at 10 AM on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 in the chapel at Dutton Funeral Home in Iowa Park, Texas with Pastor Terry Hickman, Bible Baptist Church of Electra, Texas, officiating. Graveside services will follow at the Electra Memorial Park in Electra, Texas. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM on Monday, December 21, 2020 at Dutton Funeral Home in Iowa Park.
George was born June 11, 1930 in Corsicana, Texas to Alvin Miller and Velma Victoria (Vernon) Davis. He was a lifelong resident of Electra, Texas and worked as a Pipeline Welder. George enjoyed spending his time fishing and gardening.
George was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Norma Davis; son, George Glenn Davis; brother, William Davis; sister, Billie Jean Goodin; and granddaughter, Bobbie Nicole Davis.
Surviving relatives include his son, Bobby Davis of Bauxite, Arkansas; sons, Donald Goodwin of Wichita Falls, Texas, Troy Goodwin of New Braunfels, Texas, and James Goodwin of Craig, Colorado; daughter, Brenda Cozad of Dallas, Texas; two brothers, Alvin Miller Davis, Jr. of Electra, Texas and David Davis of Lufkin, Texas; sister, Angela Davis of Corinth, Texas; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Billy Davis, Nathan Kelley, Lee Harvey, Don Goodwin, Craig Cozad, and Billy Goodin.
Memorials are suggested to the Electra Meals on Wheels, Senior Citizens Center, 503 W Michigan Ave. Electra, Texas 76360.
