Janice L. Peters, 77, of Electra, passed away September 29, 2011. Memorial Services will be held at Immanuel Church, Harrold, Texas at 1:00 PM Monday, October 3, 2011. Interment will follow at Electra Memorial Park under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home in Iowa Park.
Janice was born April 13, 1934 in Sioux City, Iowa. She married Leroy C Peters February 20, 1954 in Elk Point, South Dakota. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. Janice enjoyed crafting and spending quality time with her family.
Survivors include husband Leroy, children, Elizabeth, Donald and his wife, Jeanette, Deanna, Bruce and his wife, Jill, Barbara and her husband, Walt, Tamara, Terry and his wife, Robin, son-in-law, Larry Rolling, 22 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren; brother, Roland Carter; aunt, Shirley; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Janice was preceded in death by mother, Helen “Pearl” (Denny) Carter; father, Earl Carter; Brother, Robert Carter and sister, Marilyn Grice; daughter, LeAnn Rolling and granddaughter, Pamela Peters.
Memorials may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church in Harrold, TX or to Hospice of Wichita Falls.
