The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, December 3, 2010 at Dutton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joe Davis officiating. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home.
Kenneth was born July 25, 1928 in Iowa Park, Texas to the late Curtis P. and Rose Anna Hendricks Simmons. He and Ruby Chappell were married May 16, 1952 in Henrietta, Texas. He worked as a Superintendent for Jake Holmes Construction Company prior to his retirement. Kenneth also served in the US Navy and on the Highland Cemetery Association Board of Directors. He was a Baptist.
He is survived by his wife, Ruby of Iowa Park; sons, Charles and Curtis both of Iowa Park; two brothers, Freddie and Jerry of Iowa Park; 4 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday, December 2, 2010 at Dutton Funeral Home Chapel.
