Leonard B. Green

Leonard B. Green, 85, passed away Wednesday, November 26, 2014 in Wichita Falls. Funeral services will be held at 3 PM on Saturday, November 29, 2014 in the chapel at Dutton Funeral Home with Tim Ewing, Faith Baptist Church of Iowa Park, officiating. Graveside services will follow at Highland Cemetery under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home in Iowa Park. Visitation will be held from 6 PM to 8 PM in the chapel at the funeral home.

Leonard was born October 7, 1929 in Iowa Park to William B. and Mary Lou (Langston) Green. He married Fannie Mae Reynolds on November 7, 1950 in Lovington, New Mexico. He worked as a Driller in the oil field and retired at age 62. Leonard had a big heart and would help anybody out who needed it. He loved his family, especially his grandkids.

Surviving relatives include his wife, Fannie Mae Green; and two sons, Leonard F. Green and his wife, Melba and Billy Je Green and his wife, Kathy, all of Iowa Park; one brother, Billy Green of Post, Texas; five grandchildren, Michael Scott Green, Brandon S. Green, Shannon Ignotowicz, Kayla Green and Terry Nolen; nine great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and family members.

Memorials are suggested to Hospice of Wichita Falls.
