Linda McQuerry

Linda was born May 24, 1948, to Omer Leon and Eula Fay Fulfer in Wichita Falls, Texas. She was a graduate of Valley View High School and attended Ranger Junior College. She married Dennis Ray McQuerry on February 14, 1968. Linda was a homemaker and managed McQuerry Tank Truck Services. She later worked as a preschool teacher at Sonshine Station Learning Center. Linda was an avid bowler and enjoyed bowling on teams with her husband and sisters. Her greatest joys in life were her granddaughters. Her hobbies included shopping, watching Hallmark movies, making crafts, and collecting ladybugs.

Along with her parents, Linda was also preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Dennis Ray McQuerry; her daughter, Becky Denise McQuerry; and her brother, Omer Leon "Lon" Fulfer, Jr.

Survivors include her daughters, Shelly Whitman and her husband Eric of Southlake, Texas, and Jody Bowers and her husband, Bubba of Iowa Park, Texas; three granddaughters, Faith Bowers, Evanne Whitman, and Emily McQuerry Bowers, four sisters; Joyce Overstreet Barnes of Temple, Oklahoma, Paula Reid of Iowa Park, Texas, Elizabeth Vanek and husband Ricky of Iowa Park, Texas, and Leann Fulfer of Iowa Park, Texas; many nieces, nephews and cousins that she loved dearly.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at the Highland Cemetery Pavilion in Iowa Park, Texas.
