Richard Dean Wheeler

A visitation will be held from 5pm-7pm at Dutton Funeral Home on Monday June 12, 2023 with a graveside service held at Highland Cemetery on Tuesday June 13, 2023 at 10:00am.

Richard was born to Charles A. and Susie Wheeler on September 6, 1937 in Woodville, Nebraska. He married Rosemary Konert on January 25, 1958 in Sycamore Illinois.

Richard served his country for 23 years in the Air Force. He served in Wyoming, Wisconsin, Anchorage, Utah, Hawaii, Shemya Island, Okinawa and Texas. After his Air Force career he worked at Siemens and Washex.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Rex and son – in – law Jimmy Davis.

He is survived by his wife Rosemary Wheeler, brother Gary Wheeler (Cheryl), Daughter Kathy Green (Billy), Daughter Janice Davis, Grandchildren Scott Davis, Shannon Ignotowicz (Brian), Michael Davis (Stephanie), and Kayla Green, Great Grandchildren Kaybree Davis, Taylor Davis, Zoey Ignotowicz, Sydney Ignotowicz, Emma Davis, Anderlee Davis, and Andrew Green.
