

Ruth ‘Pixie’ (Hill) Morris Cooper passed away August 1, 2011. She was born November 10, 1912 in Davidson, Oklahoma to Fred and Lee (Hubble) Hill. Ruth married C.L. ‘Pete’ Morris in 1930 and Roy Cooper in 1955.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, a son, Alan Lee Morris, a great grandson, David Alan Hine, sisters, Wortha Roach, Juanita Fleming and brothers, Jake and Roy Hill.
Survivors include her daughters, Mona Henderson and husband, Sammy of Iowa Park and LaRue Kilbourn and husband, Charles of Harlingen, Texas; sisters, Fern Cottrell of Frederick, Oklahoma, Freddie McKoen of Merrill, Oregon; brother, J.B. Hill of Chattanooga, Oklahoma; 7 grandchildren, Charmagne Kingcade, Shawnee Raines, Lawana May, Alana Clark, Rocky Morris, Chuck Kilbourn and Royce Kilbourn; 16 great grandchildren and 14 great-great grandchildren.
Ruth was a homemaker and an avid antique dealer and collector. She ran a booth at the Holliday Street Flea Market for many years. Her singing and laughter will be greatly missed by kids, grandkids, great grandkids and great-great grandkids of all ages, whom Pixie loved spending time with.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, August 4, 2011 at Dutton Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Gary House officiating. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home of Iowa Park, Texas.
