Tyler Andrew Garcia

May Tyler Andrew Garcia, “Tag”, rest in peace. May he be remembered as a kind, sweet, tender-hearted, smart, amazing, talented, loving, inquisitive, funny, happy, beautiful, caring, wonderful son, brother and friend. He was religious, goofy and a bona fide smarty pants.

May others know his love for his school, ROTC, band, Ag and theater arts. We will miss his great imagination, love of music, and all his big dreams for a great future.

Tyler, 14, was born in Temple, Texas on November 8, 1999, and passed away on Sunday, October 26, 2014 in Iowa Park.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 3, 2014, in the Chapel at Dutton Funeral Home, with Rev. Kendall Graves officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home.

Survivors include Mom, Roxanne Peterson Jones of Iowa Park; Step-Dad, Justin Jones of Iowa Park; Dad, Andrew Garcia of Lampasas, Texas; brothers, Jimmy Harrison and fiancee’ Vanessa Hofmann of Iowa Park, Dylan Garcia and Noah Garcia of Lampasas; Grandmother, Sandra Adams of Lampasas; Grandfather, Larry and Kumsun Peterson of Colorado; Grandpa, Don Huntington of Eastland; Grandparents, Ernistine Garcia, Andrew and Ruth Garcia of Lampasas; Step-Grandparents, Randy and Sallye Robertson of Wichita Falls; Aunts, Christine Kimey Peterson of Colorado; Lawrence Micheal Crissy of Washington, Danielle Clark of Fort Worth, Joscelyn Jones, Lisa Rathman of Lampasas; Uncles, Wally Huntington of Las Vegas, Camryn Garcia of Lampasas, Micheal Maudy Dardy of Cedar Park, Chris Jackson of Iowa Park; numerous cousins and friends.
