
A celebration of life memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, October 31, 2015, in the Chapel of Dutton Funeral Home, Iowa Park, Texas, with her husband and Pastor, O.L. Laurence, officiating.
Wynonah was born on August 14, 1949, in Wichita Falls, Texas, to Johnny Van Anglin and wife, Joyce Ethelene (Roye) Anglin. She graduated from Wichita Falls High School in 1967. She and Orvial Lee Laurence were married August 13, 1966, in Wichita Falls. She was a Christian music and worship pastor.
Jocey’s music ministry began at First United Pentecostal Church of Wichita Falls at the age of 14 and included Calvary Tabernacle of South Ogden, Utah, founded by Jocey and her husband, O.L. Laurance; evangelist tours of Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana; Texas UPCI camps and Ladies’ Conferences; First UPC, Jacksonville, Texas; Calvary Tabernacle and Calvary Christian Academy of Dallas for 20 years; NITECAPPS (a marketplace ministry in many locations); a foreign missions tour to Romania in the summer of 1998; and for the last 14 months, music and worship pastor at Faith Tabernacle of Wichita Falls.
Survivors include husband, O.L. Laurence of North Richland Hills; daughter, Dr. Christi Lee Laurence and fiance’ Jon Bohler of Corpus Christi; parents, Johnny and Ethelene Anglin of Wichita Falls; a brother, Hardin Anglin and wife Janet of Wichita Falls; two sisters, Dena and husband Jerry Dreaden of Amarillo, Texas and Sarah and husband Chaplain Bob Brott of Elgin, Oklahoma; three nephews, Toby Richardson of Amarillo and Michael and Mark Anglin of Wichita Falls; a niece, Anna Dreadin of Amarillo; two great-nieces and four great-nephews.
