Arthur Randy Reese

COLUMBIA - A memorial service for Arthur Randy Reese, 70, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 2, 2024 at Dunbar Funeral Home, Dutch Fork Chapel. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mr. Reese died Friday, October 25, 2024. Born in Hamlet, NC, he was the son of the late Isaac Boyd Reese, Jr. and Lillian Todd Reese Dawkins. He attended Hamlet High School and graduated from Richmond Senior High School in Rockingham, NC. Randy went on to graduate from Pembroke State University, now the University of North Carolina Pembroke, with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. At PSU, he met the love of his life, his wife Susan. He was a member of Tau Kappa Epsilon (TKE). He retired from SCANA after 37 years of service. In his leisure time, he loved Lake Murray, traveling, playing tennis, and working with his hands. Randy was an avid Gamecock fan.

Surviving are his wife of 46 years, Susan B. Reese of Prosperity, SC; son, Benjamin Reese (fiancée, Samantha) of West Columbia, SC; sister, Beverly Reese Cartrette of Lexington, SC; and numerous nieces and nephews.
