Mrs. Olenick passed away Saturday, July 19, 2014. Born in Seoul, South Korea, she was a daughter of the late Geo Dong Kim and Soon Hee Kim. She attended Gateway Baptist Church.

She was a true business woman having owned her own massage therapist business most of her life until declining health. Even in poor health, she was still helping others become business owners. She loved her trips to Cherokee and Las Vegas where she especially enjoyed “Playing” the slots. She and her husband have visited most casinos from the East Coast to the West Coast.
Her love for animals was undeniable. She believed in the Good Luck of the Pigs and Elephants and she always asked people with dogs, even strangers, the opportunity to show them affection. Most importantly, she was a woman of love. Her family was most important to her. Chong enjoyed spending as much time as possible with her husband, her children and her three grandchildren. She would always take the grandchildren for treats and ice cream. Although the past Memorial Day, her 38th Wedding Anniversary and the 4th of July was spent in the hospital, she was with her family by her side.
