Cory Brian Takach

A graduate of Chapin High School, he attended Midlands Technical College. Cory played bass guitar with Funky Junk and numerous bands. A bass guitar instructor, he loved all things music - traveling to concerts, listening to music, and playing various musical instruments. Cory was always helping people and his last gift was to donate his organs to those in need.

Surviving are his sister, Kayla Takach of Chapin, SC; uncle, Jim Takach (Cindy); aunts, Chris Sheppard (Stephen) and Lynne Reynolds (Everett); cousins, Merit Takach, Stacey Kirkland, Scott Neal, Bridget Swindall (Devin), Jimmy Takach (Jenny), Brianna Takach, Chance Takach and his mother, Roberta, and Kristin Takach and her mother, Melissa; and other extended family, as well as numerous friends all over the world.

He will be deeply missed but his musical legacy will live on forever.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Eleanor and John Takach; maternal grandmother, Sandra Meade; maternal grandfather, Fred Taylor; and uncles, Mark Takach, Pat Takach, John Takach, and Dan Taylor.
