IRMO David Thomas Mott, 78, died Friday, January 29, 2016. Born in Dayton, Ohio, Mr. Mott was a son of the late Clinton and Margaret Smith Mott. Surviving are his four children, Christopher Mott, Theresa Voyles, Jennifer Ballinger, Eric Mott; eight grandchildren; one brother; and one sister. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Mott; and one brother. Services for Mr. Mott will be held at a later date in Dayton, Ohio. Dunbar Funeral Home, Dutch Fork Chapel, Irmo, is assisting the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Corner Cupboard, 504 Xenia Avenue, Dayton, OH 45410.
