A memorial service for Evelyn Whisnant will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 4, 2023 at Faith United Methodist Church.
Evelyn was a graduate of Columbia High School. She then graduated from Columbia College. She retired from SCE&G as a clerk. Evelyn was a dedicated member of Faith United Methodist Church, serving in various roles within the church. Evelyn loved gardening and planting flowers. She also had a special love for her grandson, Kane.
Surviving are her brothers, James “Jim” Nunamaker (Donna), Samuel Nunamaker (Kitty Keefe); sister, Katherine Daniels (Charles); grandson, Kane Krios; and many nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to thank, Janet Mayfield, Lauren Daniels, Addi, and the doctors from Prisma Baptist Hospital for the special love they gave to Evelyn.
