Gladys Ann Rankin, 75, passed away May 13, 2025. Born in Ellenton, GA, she was the daughter of the late Charlie and Mary Erskin. Ann enjoyed shagging and dancing in her younger days in life and taking trips to the beach. She enjoyed gardening and watching her birds. Shopping was a hobby she enjoyed along with watching old family sitcoms and westerns during her down time.
Ann is survived by her son, Michael Rankin (Courtney); daughter, Nancy Johnson; grandchildren, Madelyn Rankin, Buddy “George” Cribbs (Jacki), Ashley Gilliam (Richard); great-grandchildren, Isom, Arlo, McKenzi, Lacey, Ellie, Navee; brother, Thomas Erskin; sister, Verline Moody; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by a brother, H.L. Erskin.
The family will be having a small, casual, private gathering held at a later date.
They would like to extend their appreciation to Twyla Wheeler and the MSA Hospice team especially Hospice nurse, Brandi Harvey for their loving care and support of Ann.
